Professor Mustapha Adham Professor of digestive surgery at Lyon Sud faculty of medicine (University Claude Bernard Lyon1); Head of the digestive surgery department at Edouard Herriot University Hospital (Hospices Civils de Lyon). The department of digestive surgery is a multidisciplinary centre with dedicated experts in digestive surgery fields: Colorectal, Esogastric, Bariatric, and a leading centre for pancreatic cancer treatment, neuroendocrine tumours (ENETS certification) and an ERAS centre of excellence. Graduated from Ein-Shams faculty of medicine in Cairo, and then completed his surgical training in Lyon university hospitals. In 1997, was appointed consultant surgeon at Croix Rousse University Hospital. Worked and developed minimally invasive surgery with a special  interest in HBP surgery and participated for more than 15 years in the liver transplantation program. In 2005, joined the department of HBP Surgery at Edouard Herriot University Hospital. In 2008, was appointed professor of digestive surgery at University Claude Bernard Lyon1.
