Dejan Radenkovic is Professor of Surgery in the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Currently he is the Head of Doctoral Studies in Surgery in School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He specializes in pancreaticobiliary and other complex gastrointestinal surgery with a research focus in clinical outcomes assessment. After he has been completed his post-doctoral fellowships at University of Heidelberg, he introduced several new procedures in pancreatic surgery in his country. He has authored over 100 manuscripts and numerous book chapters focusing on pancreaticobiliary diseases. Professor Radenkovic has leadership roles in a number of Serbian surgical associations, University’s committees, and international societies. He has been founding member of Serbian Pancreatic Club and currently serving as President of  this society, founding member of Serbian, Association for Bariatric Surgery and serving as Vice – President, and founding member of W-E Balkan Chapter of E-AHPBA and serving as President. Prof. Radenkovic, is Council member of E-AHPBA and European Digestive Surgery, and member of Communication Committee and Scientific Committee of E-AHPBA and Scientific Committee of IAHPBA.
